The Prince Albert opened it's doors for the very first time in the mid 1800's under the ownership of it's first landlord, Mr Thomas Brown. Nine landlord/landladies later, Martin and Wendy Higgins took the reigns becoming the proprietors in 1999. The pub temporarily closed in 2005 as we undertook a series of renovations. During the works we added seven letting rooms and a fine dining restaurant, as well as extending the rear of the building.
Located on the edge of the historic town of Windsor, we have easy access to the M3, M4 and M25. The Albert, as it is affectionally known by locals, plays close host to variety of landmarks including Windsor Castle, Frogmore, LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Virginia Waters and more. Whether you are having a city break, taking the children to Legoland or are in town for business, The Prince Albert really is the perfect place to accommodate all your needs.
